Main Purpose of Job: Interface with customers via inbound or outbound calls or the Internet for the purpose of passively (i.e.; order taking) or actively selling Nortel products and services. Responsibilities include processing customer requests and sales; providing and receiving various information; up-selling client products plus handling miscellaneous customer service and general information calls via the phone or Internet..
Job Responsibilities: Outbound cold or warm calling to sell or promote Nortel technical products and services Increase the focus on up selling and relationship building. Communicate and issue notification through email and*or phone Profiling inbound calls and incoming emails from customers with diverse requests and indentify potential leads.
Key Skills Required: Systems skills - The ability to toggle between multiple applications, strong Excel skills, comfortable using windows applications Sales skills - Ability to create urgency, overcome objections, "consultative selling" appropriate escalation Communication skills -Professional written and oral communication skills (phone and email) in both English and French Customer service skills Professional telephone manner Good keyboard skills Excellent communication skills Ability to prioritise Outgoing*enthusiastic Qualities: Excellent team player Determination to succeed*Motivator Positive attitude Sense of humour Leads by example Adaptable and Resilient Ability to use own initiative During training candidates may have to complete some form of Nortel technical certification.
